Kiley - Special Needs

Kiley found herself in need of a new home at the age of 12! Thanks goodness some
good samaritans took her in. Kiley's dental care has been severely neglected and
as a result has severe periodontal disease, to the point of loosing all her
teeth. This surgery and the follow up care has taken a toll on the new adoptors
financially. So we would like to accept tax deductable donations to help pay for
her vet care.
Read more about Kiley
by clicking on her picture and please help us help her get the proper health
care she needs.
Allie - Special Needs Carin
Allie - Spring 2012 Update

Allie has had ear surgery and is doing well. Unfortunately she still has
other health issues and will be on meds for the rest of her life. She
continues to need lots of medical attention so we greatly appreciate any
donations to help defray some of the costs associated with her medical
needs. Her rough life has caused many reoccurring infections and issues.
Thanks to many of your donations that helps us keep her pain free.
If you are able to help us to continue to provide Allie with her medical
needs, please make your tax deductible donation to Allie today.
Thank
you for your generosity!

ALLIE NEEDS YOUR HELP!
My name is Allie and I once had a person of my own until she became ill. Because
my owner had dementia, I had not been taken care of properly. My owners' family
took me to a veterinarian to be boarded and I lived there for a very long time.
With no where to go, and no one to love me, my time was coming to an end. But
then SW Cairn Rescue learned of my plight and they welcomed me to their foster
program with open arms and paws. I dont think anyone could have been prepared
to see the condition I was in. I was extremely overweight and even walking
across the room was a struggle for me. I came with skin problems which led to
open sores and my hair fell out. I never received dental care and my teeth and
gums are in real bad shape. Worst of all, I've suffered from chronic ear
infections that were left untreated.
Knowing that I needed extra special care and my rehabilitation would be a long
process, SW Cairn rescue placed me in a very special foster home. My foster mom
and dad are amazing! With their love and devotion, my skin has cleared up, I am
growing in a beautiful red coat and I've lost 4 pounds! My leg muscles have
gotten a lot stronger since foster dad takes me on daily walks with the two
other Cairns I live with, and I can climb stairs and jump and play like a
regular dog! I couldn't do any of that just a few short months ago.
Unfortunately one of my ears has not responded to the various medications and
our doctor referred us to a specialist. The canal has calcified and cannot be
opened to treat the infection that lies below, which is causing me tremendous
pain. After having long standing ear infections that were not treated, the
damage is too severe and the only way to correct the damage is to have surgery.
I need to have a total ear canal ablation. I am hopeful that the surgery will
restore my hearing too. Thank you for reading my story.
Love, Allie
Note from SW Cairn Rescue: Allie is an incredible little girl that is so full of
life and as sweet as can be. She has been through a lot in her short 6 years and
it is up to us (with your help) to give her the chance of a new wonderful life.
Allie's surgery pre-op and post-op will cost $3,500.00. Your donation is tax
deductible!! Please help us help our little Allie so she can live happy, healthy
and pain free.
Please
consider donating to help us to help Allie get the medical care and attention
she needs. Southwest Cairn Rescue is an
