Brewster is a 5 year old boy being fostered in Portland, OR, who will wander
away from home if he gets the chance, so he'll require a securely fenced
yard. He plays well with other dogs, everyone he meets, and doesn't bother
the cat. There are birds in his foster home and although he's a mellow good
natured guy, he's a terrier and shouldn't be trusted with any small critter.
Brewster is a little over weight right now at 21 lbs, but we've got him on a
doggie diet and he's learning that healthy treats like apple slices and
carrot sticks are delicious! Daily walks (which he loves) and a small
adjustment to his daily kibble will have him slim and trim in no time.
Brewster is housebroken, and already knew about popping in and out the
doggy door. He takes care of potty business without any urging while
checking out the sights and sounds in the back yard. He doesn't need to sit
right on you, but he's very sweet and friendly and loves a scratch and a
cuddle.
