1 Year Jake has had a
tuff start in his young life. He was brought to an animal hospital to be
euthanized for fly snapping seizures but this nice young vet tech could not do
it so she had the owner sign him over to her. They then contacted SW Cairn
Rescue to see if we could help. The only foster home we had for him was in
Boulder Colorado so we got him there. It is now appearing that Jake was
misdiagnosed with fly snapping seizures due to being exposed to distemper! We
have found out he has ear mites and is being treated for them and we feel the
fly snapping was behavioral not neurological, like first thought! Jake is being
treated for ear mites.
Jake is the
happiest little guy and loves everyone. He loves to play ball and run in the
yard. He appears to be housetrained and crate trained. Jake romps with his
foster siblings. He also loves to cuddle up with you and get lots of love and
attention.
